Head of Commercial

Reporting to the Country Manager, this role will ensure integrated commercial success of the business. The job holder will be expected to lead a team of managers in developing and driving the commercial strategy of the business to deliver growth in market share and revenue.

Performance Indicators will include:

  • Achievement of set revenue targets and consistent revenue growth

  • Growth in market share and business segment

  • Delight customers through exceptional service

  • Innovation – new product propositions and enhancement of existing products

  • Team leadership and management to ensure optimal delivery

  • Relationship management with third parties


  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field

  • Eight years of relevant work experience with at least five years in senior leadership roles in relevant fields

  • A strong hands-on and executor, results oriented manager with good commercial acumen

  • Ability to deal with shifting priorities and issues inherent to a fast-growing company with a decentralised business model

  • Highly analytical skills with ability to apply creative problem-solving methodologies

  • Natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills

  • A strong passion for sports particularly football

Product Manager

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the job holder is expected to take full ownership of the assigned products portfolio as the driving force behind product innovation, revenue growth strategies, customer retention and product profitability.

Performance Indicators will include:

  • Customer acquisition and retention

  • Increased product usage

  • Reduction in churn rate

  • Increase in customer engagement levels

  • Third parties relationship management

  • Product innovation & diversification


  • A degree in a relevant field

  • At least 5 years experience marketing/business development

  • Strong preference for sports/gaming promotional experience

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent team skills

  • Demonstrable ability to be comfortable with numbers

Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will ensure that all company brand assets are utilised optimally. The job holder will be expected to drive the brand strategy of the business to deliver growth and loyalty. As the 'brand guardian', the job holder will be expected to maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.

Performance indicators will include:

  • ROI for marketing initiatives

  • Cost of customer acquisition

  • Growth in organic customers

  • New products propositions and launch

  • Quality of relationship management with third parties


  • Degree in marketing or equivalent

  • Certification in marketing

  • 5 years managerial experience

  • Experience in handling B2C sales

  • Experience in handling fast moving goods

  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills
