We are looking for a self-motivated and results driven leader to oversee our factory operations. Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Managing Director, the overall responsibility is to manage all factory operations to ensure timely and quality production of products. This positions interacts regularly with the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement the Company’s factory strategy and operational plans to drive business growth and meet business goals.
Prepare budgets and allocate financial resources, formulate policies and coordinate business operations the department.
Review and improve workflow and administration processes including planning, cost management, sourcing and delivery.
Build key relations with all stakeholders and identify opportunities to grow the business in alignment to the Company’s strategic plan.
Set clear goals for assigned employees, lead and inspire them to high performance.
Evaluate and decide on key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent.
Present business strategy and performance updates to the Board.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
A registered pharmacist with interest in quality assurance and experience in business.
7 years experience in production or quality assurance with at least 2 years in senior management. Experience in working with Boards will be an advantage.
Visionary, results oriented, adaptable, good business acumen with excellent communications and influencing skills.
Good people management skills with ability to lead, inspire and create alignment across the organisation.
